Hello neighbors! My name is Jim Newman and I will be the new Cross country coach for Bigfoot HS. Social distancing has put me a bit behind in introducing myself to some of the athletes so I’m calling on all of you for help. If you know of any student athletes interested in joining next season, (including incoming freshman) please pass along my contact info. I’d greatly appreciate it. Parents of potential athletes, please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns as well. I’ll do my best in answering whatever questions you may have.

Wisconsin internet customers unable to pay due to circumstances related to Covid-19 (the pandemic, coronavirus or the Public Health Emergency) may request their internet service remain on for the duration of the Keeping Americans Connected pledge, currently through June 30. In order to keep internet service on the customer must call their provider and indicate their inability to pay their bills due to disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic and mention the company’s commitment to the Keeping Americans Connected Pledge.
The Keeping Americans Connected Pledge only relates to internet and telephone service, not video or cable service.
Wisconsin residents with questions or concerns about the pledge or issues remaining connected related to non-payment should call the Commission’s Internet and Phone Helpline 608-267-3595.

To clarify, we cannot feed free meals to anyone over 18. We are now allowed to send food with adults for children who cannot be present at pickup. We apologize for any confusion.

The Governor has closed schools indefinitely until further notice. Our plan is to continue instruction virtually. Breakfast/lunch may now be given to adults with kids enrolled. Kids do not need to be present.

Families- tomorrow is materials pick up day from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Daycare families may also enter at this time to pick up any belongings. Please bring a bag to help carry items. Due to restrictions on group size, children may not attend the materials pick up. If you need us to run items out to your car or you are unable to pick materials up tomorrow, please call the office to make other arrangements.
Based on an overload of the Google Education Suite by teachers nationwide, Google Classroom has had many unknown errors today slowing teachers down. Our teachers have requested that the expectation to begin online content not begin until Wednesday the 18th so they are adequately prepared. Your students are welcome to start any paperwork picked up tomorrow in the meantime.
